2006 East West K-9 Christmas Party

The Christmas Party was celebrated at the Holiday Inn in Cahokia. There was a good turnout and everybody had a great time. It was interesting and fun as the retired members and new members partied together, some of them meeting for the first time.

The Christmas party started off with everyone eating and mingling with one another.

After dinner, Sergeant Parisi was awarded a Plaque containing a picture of him and his late canine partner, K-9 Barry. The Plaque was to recognize both Sergeant Parisi and K-9 Barry for there dedication and hard work as a K-9 team and to serve as a remembrance to K-9 Barry, who was much loved and will be missed.

Finally, there was a "white-elephant" gift exchange. This is where everyone exchanged gifts on "things" they found at there house. It was quite amusing to see who got what gift.
